B2B marketers have come a long way recognizing the importance of social media for reaching their goals. And as B2B marketers, we like to make our work more efficient and more effective. That’s exactly where social media management tools come in: They help you manage all of your different B2B social media accounts, provide you with statistics and more.

Social Media Management Tools

As hundreds of these exist, it’s easy to get wrapped up in all the possibilities, so here’s a quick roundup of our favorites:

HootSuite
HootSuite is probably the most popular social media management tool. It allows you to manage different accounts in various networks including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. You can schedule posts, track conversations and measure campaign results. What’s great about it is that it lets you organize multiple streams in columns, so you can see all the information you want (e. g. for Instagram it includes your news feed, your own account, hashtags that you like to keep track of, and more) at once on your screen.

Tweriod
Tweriod is a free Twitter tool that analyses the activity of your Twitter followers and lets you know when most of them are active. That way, you can make the most out of your Tweets ensuring the majority of your followers will actually see them right when you’re posting them. As the average lifespan of a Tweet is a mere 18 minutes long, it’s definitely essential to tweet at the right time to get your message across to your followers.

Sprout Social
Sprout Social is similar to HootSuite in that it monitors and manages multiple social media accounts in various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It also provides you with suggestions for people to follow or unfollow. We especially appreciate its extensive analytics and nice-looking reports.

These are the tools we like and use on a regular basis. But as it is with almost everything, there isn’t a right or wrong and what works for us might not work for you and vice versa. So what are your favorite management tools for B2B social media?
